St Mary’s Centre Vegetable Garden Project

Covid19 and 2020 in general, has hit so many people very hard and left some of our participants feeling sad and unsure about the future. Our CEO wanted to do something to help our participants and staff feel good again, and give us all something to focus on. He gave us the opportunity to build our very own vegetable garden! When we layered the soil and pea straw, our participants helped shovel dirt and layered pea straw right along side of the staff. COVID-19 UPDATE

A statement from the Wilderness Group regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. The health and wellbeing of our clients and employees are a top priority for Wilderness Escape. We are monitoring the rapidly evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in South Australia. In line with recommendations by the South Australian and Australian Government, and the World Health Organisation, we have modified our Infection Control Policies to include a number of changes to minimise the potentioal spread of infectious illnesses during our programs and camps, which based on current advise, we continue to operate.

FEBRUARY UPDATE

2017 was a very productive year for us with a steady growth in participants and a smooth transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). It can be tricky navigating the NDIS so please do call us if you need guidance through the system. We are currently seeking feedback on our Strategic Plan for 2020 and invite you to join our consultative committee. Please feel free to email [email protected] to register your interest.
